Carlisle Live is a charity fundraising event held in aid of two key Cumbrian charities:

  • THE RICHARD ROSE ACADEMY

Two new schools with 21st Century facilities, the Richard Rose Academies will bring about a new era of learning in the city of Carlisle and the wider county of Cumbria. They will provide exciting opportunities for students in a first class learning environment, giving young people the best possible chance to continue their education and widen their opportunities.

  • CFM'S CASH FOR KIDS' APPEAL

Cash for Kids is CFM Radio's listener charity, raising money to make grants to children's groups and projects in Cumbria. The money is both raised and spent locally to help children with disabilities, living in deprived situations or suffering through abuse or neglect.

Carlisle Live would like to thank the following supporters:

  • ANDREW TINKLER

Andrew Tinkler, CEO of Stobart Group, says that, "It is my aim to create a uniquely special family event offering top class music and entertainment for the people of Cumbria and the surrounding regions in the north of the United Kingdom. For 2008 we have raised the bar even further, bringing to Carlisle some of the best pop music acts the world has to offer and this year we are hosting it over two days so it will be an action packed weekend of fun with something for everyone."
